Qualitative study on the use of broadband by small businesses (December 2012)
Most small businesses in Switzerland have a broadband connection and regularly use applications such as e-mail and the internet, for example. At present, the main difficulty they encounter lies not in the availability of high-speed broadband infrastructure but in accessing the knowledge and technical know-how needed to make optimal use of the internet. These are some of the findings of a qualitative study carried out by the INFRAS research and consultancy bureau, under a joint mandate from the Federal Office of Communications (OFCOM) and the State Secretariat of Economic Affairs (SECO).The full study is only available in German.
