Internal Compliance Programme – ICP
Legal entities must demonstrate the existence of a reliable internal control system – known in technical parlance as an Internal Compliance Programme (ICP) – in order to obtain a licence under the war materiel legislation. (Art. 12a para. 2 WMO; Art. 5 para. 2 GCO)
When opening an Elic account, the ICP verification document is automatically included in the registration process and stored in the company's account. Any changes made after the account has been opened must be submitted to SECO electronically as a new ICP: info.elic@seco.admin.ch. The form can be found under ‘ICP Verification’.
Supporting documents to assist with the preparation of an ICP are available below.
