Federal research and innovation landscape
Switzerland has a diverse and historically developed funding landscape in the field of research and innovation. The Confederation follows a ‘no wrong door’ approach, whereby funding bodies are so well connected with one another that they can assist in the search for suitable funding instruments. This overview, which includes links to further information, provides additional support.
Funding overview and objectives
The objective of this funding overview is to make it easier to navigate the funding system and to promote a shared understanding of the funding instruments, their complementarities and systemic interrelationships. The instruments are arranged on the horizontal axis according to their Technology Readiness Level (TRL). On the vertical axis, they are categorised by type of funding.
