MRA Switzerland - Canada

The MRA between Switzerland and Canada has been in force since 1 May 1999. Because the Canadian and Swiss technical regulations are not recognised as equivalent in the individual product areas, products that are exported from Switzerland to Canada must still be assessed according to Canada's technical regulations. However, the conformity assessment can be carried out by a Swiss conformity assessment body recognised under the Agreement (a ‘traditional’ MRA).
