Regional development

With the New Regional Policy (NRP), the Confederation and the cantons jointly support economic development in Switzerland’s rural and mountain regions, as well as cross-border cooperation within the framework of Interreg. The focus is on innovative, economically oriented projects by local and regional stakeholders, particularly in the fields of tourism and industry.
