EFTA - Indonesia

Negotiations on a comprehensive economic partnership agreement between the EFTA-States and Indonesia were launched on 7 July 2010. The relevant Ministers signed the agreement on 16 December 2018.  

The Chapter on Trade in Services is complemented by specific rules contained in the following annexes: financial services, telecommunications services, services related to tourism and travel, movement of natural persons supplying services, recognition of professional qualifications as well as recognition of professional certificates in the area of maritime transport services. Specific market access commitments are based on a positive list approach. This chapter does not contain obligations on standstill and ratchet.
