Swiss Accreditation Service SAS

The Swiss Accreditation Service (SAS) is Switzerland’s national accreditation body and part of the State Secretariat for Economic Affairs (SECO). It assesses and accredits various types of conformity assessment bodies (CABs) based on the relevant international standards. In doing so, the SAS officially confirms their technical competence and reliability. Accreditation ensures comparability, strengthens the business environment, and facilitates international trade.
