The European Working Conditions Survey (EWCS) is the largest comparative study of working conditions in Europe. It has been carried out every five years since 1990 by the European Foundation for the Improvement of Living and Working Conditions (Eurofound). More than 43,000 employees from 35 countries were surveyed in the sixth wave, which was conducted in 2015. The Swiss sample for EWCS 2015 comprises 1,006 employees and is representative of Switzerland’s overall working population
