Publication notice: Modest uptick in consumer sentiment

Bern, 02.08.2023 - Based on the July survey, consumers have since April raised their expectations of economic growth over the next 12 months. Nonetheless, at −27 points, the consumer sentiment index remains far below the long-term average (−6 points). High prices continue to squeeze household budgets.
