Export and location promotion

The Export and Location Promotion Section (DSES) in the Promotion Activities Directorate is responsible for the instruments for the promotion of foreign trade (export financing, export promotion and location promotion). It defines and monitors the service agreements for external agencies, such as Switzerland Global Enterprise (S-GE), and safeguards the federal government's interests as owner of the Swiss Export Risk Insurance (SERV). The Section also represents Switzerland in specialised bodies of the OECD and in the multilateral forum for debt restructuring (Paris Club).
