Jérôme Cosandey (b. 1970) has been head of the Labour Directorate since 15 May 2025. He previously spent more than 13 years working at the think tank Avenir Suisse, first as Head of Research for Social Policy and then also as director of its activities in Western Switzerland from 2018. Between 2005 and 2009, he held a managerial role in Wealth Management at UBS. He began his career as a strategy consultant at The Boston Consulting Group, working in Zurich and Mumbai for six years. Jérôme Cosandey studied mechanical engineering at ETH Zurich and holds a Master’s degree in international economic history from the University of Geneva.
