Martin Saladin (*1967) has been head of the Promotion Activities Directorate at SECO since 1 September 2024. Prior to that, he was operational head and deputy head of SECO’s Economic Cooperation and Development division for five years. He has been involved in international economic development cooperation for more than 25 years. From 2004 to 2011 he headed SECO's cooperation programmes in Tanzania and Ghana. Before that, he worked for KPMG Switzerland and Switzerland Global Enterprise, among others. Martin Saladin holds degrees in international relations from the University of St Gallen and law from King's College London.
